ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH ND SAFETY

Environmental Health and Safety is an integral part of risk management at Bladeview, responsible for oversight and implementation of the company’s health and safety programs. Bladeview’s history has demonstrated that the more aligned our local construction units, subcontractors and partners are with our safety ideal of loss avoidance, the safer and more successful the project outcome.


LONG TERM GOALS

  • Our long-term goal is to strengthen the present building foundation of our companies by becoming the builders of choice in Gauteng and other Provinces in South Africa.
  • We aim to strengthen and improve the level of professionalism amongst small builders operating in South Africa through mentoring, support and empowerment.
  • Due to challenging economies factors including the pandemic, it is acknowledged that this may take a considerable time, however, we have started to implement the building blocks that seek to achieve our goal.
  • This will be achieved through, assistance program, mentorship, forming associations, partnerships, joint ventures and if necessary amalgamating with other organisation bodies of different industries.

OBJECTIVE

An important objective of the organisation is to use the various skills and experience of the directors and staff members to provide a high quality of professionalism on all the projects we undertake. Each project will be undertaken to provide the client with a range of services tailored to meet the particular requirements of the client.


EXPERTISE

Projects have become increasingly complex, cost and time-sensitive as well as required community participation and support. Bladeview Investments has realised this and applies pro-active consultation and liaising with affected communities. The client is made aware of the cost and time involved as well as possible delays and constraints. On completion of a project, a detailed report is compiled so that the knowledge and experience gained can be used in future projects.


What we do best:


We conduct analyses and deliver technical assistance on local government housing and economic development issues related to land use and residential housing. Bladeview conducts research and works directly with funders on housing and economic development issues.


Primary duties include;

  • Designing and conducting fiscal impact analyses for alternative land use scenarios;
  • Designing and implementing tools (e.g., spreadsheet models to determine internal rate of return, cost/benefit, lifecycle costs) to measure the economic impact of alternative infrastructure investments (e.g., transportation infrastructure, water infrastructure, economic development incentives, housing programs)
  • Specialise in the bonded properties.
  • Working with communities to provide them with technical assistance on using construction as a tool for achieving fiscal health and spurring economic development;
  • Tracking and analysing in town revitalization, real estate, and job creation policy
  • Highly adept at building excellent working relationships with other property developers, lenders, end-user/clients, appraisers, title companies, civil engineers, surveyors, attorneys, local authority and Government.
  • Developing and managing project budgets and work plans, ensuring that deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • We do construction works applying compliance and quality in all building projects.
  • Water meter installation with intensions to participate in water purification and resource.

Secondary duties;

  • Advise on a smart city concept development and grantmakers.
  • Initiate new projects and acquisition of viable and profitable projects.
  • Mediate between project owner and funders
  • Identification of unique projects happening in the developed countries to be implemented in our country as a form of investment and job creation.
  • Affirm enthusiastic entrepreneurs by seeking both training and financial support to anchor their dreams.
  • Isolate between a real business and fake scammers within the real estate industry.
  • To inform and guide emerging businesses on the basics of what they intend to do as a business venture.
  • Lobby foreign investors to invest in our country through partnerships with the locals by using a trade mission platform.
  • Advise our business associates to belong to trade affiliation structures that aim to safeguard the model of business they are persuading.
  • Abide by the laws of the country and guided by the bylaws that exist within the municipalities.
  • Play a role in the formalisation of a small business to a bigger idea and encouraging the future industrial revolution.
